Pain

I am for sure one of those people that is just always ill. I have come to the conclusion that some people are just more susceptible than others and I am one of those. How might you ask have I managed to get ill during lockdown. I haven’t been to the supermarket in weeks, I wore gloves when I took the babies to the drs for their vaccinations and I have adhered to all of the government rules on lockdown and social distancing, I was also fortunate enough to have already bulk bought hand sanitizer before I even knew about corona virus so I thought maybe I could catch a break! But my teeth had other ideas. One of my wisdom teeth decided to make an appearance but not in a good way, it got infected and then because the NHS let me down – long story short, someone didn’t do their job properly. (I still commend all the other NHS workers working hard during this testing time). I was left for 3 days without a call from the dentist and in a lot of pain and the infection spread to include my throat and ear and I have pain in my cheek bone and neck too. Barely being able to open my mouth, let alone eat. I was desperate and paid a private dentist to sort me out – I had a prescription for super strong antibiotics within the hour. Taking painkillers, a special mouth wash and antibiotics it has for sure knocked me for six. I am thankfully that my husbster has allowed me to rest and taken on the brunt of the child care duties. I also need to put into perspective this issue, I will recover and be back to health in what I am hoping will be a few short days. It is valid for me to vent my frustration and this should not be dismissed however there are people a lot worse off than me, especially at the moment and my heart goes out to them and their families.
